Nothing—I just changed the name.

Why?

It was time. When I co-founded Small Mammal in New York, my partner and I wanted to be the next Missing Pieces. Now I run the studio from Portland, my former partner is a big-shot tech journalist,1 and my professional priorities have shifted.
Basically, “Small Mammal” had become more of a placeholder than a meaningful statement or useful label. So I changed it.

OK, I was also just plain bored of it. (And I always thought it looked a bit silly on invoices anyway.)
